Examinations
Thorough and complete examinations, diagnosis, treatment plans and x-rays.

Gingival Health
We work as a team to help patients achieve optimal oral health- this includes cleanings, root planings, periodontal maintenance visits, and involvement of a periodontist if necessary.

Removal of Decay
We use many types of restorations after removal of decay- these include: white composite, silver amalgam, gold, or bonded ceramic and porcelain.
It is important to us to work with our patients to help prevent decay and the further destruction of tooth structure.

Crown and Bridge
We have several options to replace broken or missing teeth. We work as a team to evaluate aesthetics and function in making our treatment decisions.

Partials and Dentures
An important treatment option when there is a need to replace several missing teeth.

Implant Dentistry
This involves a team of specialists working closely to provide you with optimal treatment and replacement of missing teeth.

Aesthetic Enhancement
For example, bleaching, porcelain laminate veneers, tooth colored fillings, and bonding.

Extractions
Teeth that need to be removed are evaluated and treated either in the office or if necessary referred to a specialist.

Nightguards
Helps protect teeth for people that clench or grind their teeth while sleeping.

Custom Fabricated Sports Mouthguards
Many facial sports injuries can be prevented with the use of a sports guard, it is highly recommended for anyone who plays sports.

Fluoride Treatments
An important component in our goal in the prevention of tooth decay, especially in children.

Referral To and Coordination of Specialists
Achieving optimal oral health is a team effort involving our office members, the patient, the family, and sometimes a specialist. We work closely with a very qualified team of specialists including the following:

Endodontists- treatment involving the root and nerve of the tooth.
Periodontists- treatment involving the supporting structures of the teeth.
Oral Surgeons- treatment involving surgical procedures.
Pediatric Dentists- Dr. Broadway is a family dentist and takes extra continuing education courses in treating kids, she refers only select cases. She does consult extensively with a pediatric dentist.
Prosthodontists- specialize in full mouth reconstructions and dentures.
Orthodontists- corrects the bites and smiles of adults and kids with braces, retainers, and other appliances .

Relaxation Techniques: We have nitrous oxide, laughing gas, and CD players with a selection of relaxation CDs to help increase your level of comfort during dental procedures. Please let us know what we can do to help your visits be the best experience you have had in a dental office.

Emergencies: We have 24-hour emergency coverage. If patients need after hours care, they can call our office and will be directed to Dr. Broadway's pager number or to the number of another dentist who may be covering.

Patient Safety: Patient safety and protection is very important to us. We sterilize all our instruments and handpieces after each patient. Our instruments are bagged for steam and pressure sterilization and are opened just before use. After each appointment we thoroughly clean and disinfect all surfaces. You will also see that we cover all surfaces with disposable items. We wear new masks and gloves for each patient.

Children: Dr. Broadway recommends children be seen by age 2 1/2, or earlier if parents have any questions or concerns. Education about dental care needs to start at an early age. We encourage family visits, you are welcome to bring children to your initial visit or a siblings initial visit, if you would like them to observe. Our philosophy encourages a positive environment. We let children set the pace at their first visit so that they feel positive about dental care. Dr. Broadway is constantly updating her education with a focus on pediatric dentistry. Our office has several children's books in the waiting room discussing all aspects of dental care such as brushing, visiting the dentist, fillings, pulling teeth, sugar bugs, loosing teeth, and the tooth fairy. We also have special prizes at the end of each visit.
